Conflict occurs when two or more parts of a person’s system are working against each other. Unlike resistance or imbalance, conflict involves competing needs, desires, beliefs, or priorities that create internal opposition. Progress stalls not because change is unsafe or misaligned, but because the system is divided. Identifying conflict allows the practitioner to determine where the system is split so integration can occur before clearing or alignment work continues.
